Our Story
24 years ago, I could not find suitable childcare for my son. I decided to go to school and fill that need in my community. While in school I was able to be a mom AND personal nanny, substitute teacher for private and public schools and student teach in one of 3 (at the time) Reggio preschools and other quality project construct schools in the area. Upon graduation with my Early Care and Education degree, I taught at a licensed and accredited center (Downtown Children’s Center).Once I had my second child, she was in care there but I knew after several months, it was time to open that type of quality childcare in an in-home setting. In 2001, we opened our doors. Licensed from 2002-2010. I “retired” with the birth of MY 6th child mid 2011 to concentrate on my growing family. Now that everyone is older and helpful - we are again providing childcare and education for infants through school aged children. It is such a blessing to see my children with such a love for small children too! They are a welcome ‘interruption’ to their day - every day! Individual infant care - Preschool+ available.
Repeatedly CPR and First Aid Certified.
