Graham and Angie got engaged on the suspension bridge in Forest Park quite a few years ago. So when Angie suggested this as their family pics location, it was a no-brainer. I’m quite sure that same magic that was there for their engagement was there on this day too. The leaves, the warm sun, the most adorable, silly kids, and the funniest couple around - pure magic! 🪄

It’s been redhead season for me and we’ve got another live one! 👩‍🦰🤣

The day of our shoot, Lauren reminded me I was pregnant with Whitney when we met to discuss her wedding a mere sixteen-ish years ago. Wait, what? I must have blinked. Her and John are still going strong and Jack has grown into the most polite, kind, likeable kid on the planet. Makes me so happy to see how their family has matured and developed into something so special. And we found such a lovely, quiet spot in a popular park to boot! 🌳🌼🪻

Sara has a passion for dance. She lives and breathes it. I recall seeing her choreography those first years my daughter took dance and I knew immediately that we chose the right studio. Her work engages, moves, and captures you. She's just a creative genius.

As the years went on her family grew and her love and passion carried over to her beautiful family. Whitney has told me on more than one occasion, "Sara looooooves her kids." So when she asked me to photograph her family I was ridiculously flattered, but also a little intimidated.

The weather dipped so it was a chilly one, but that only meant more snuggles for Bren & Arlo. They are silly little guys and I love the way Sara and Charlie parent them. Sara, I truly admire the way you cultivate your passions, both dance and family. I’m glad I could capture just a slice of that ❤️

I have had a bunch of redheads come my way this season and also a lot of dancers, but to have a redheaded dancer was the creme de la creme! 💃 (My daughter just so happens to be a redheaded dancer.) So needless to say, this was the most fun, easy-breezy senior shoot. Ava is stunningly beautiful inside and out and has such a bright future ahead. Here's Ava!

It's been a hot minute, week, month, year(s) since I've seen the Kuhlmann family, but boy was it a breath of fresh air to see their whole brood. Carrie and I worked together quite awhile ago and to see her babies all grown up, thriving, and with the most wonderful ladies that round out their family, was just perfection. I really could not stop photographing them because it was just a fun time. So thank you Kuhlmanns for coming my way and Happy Thanksgiving with your awesome family! 🦃

A pesky thing named Covid got in our way of taking pics last year, so when I caught up with with Austin and his parents this year I was shocked by how much he's grown. Such a playful, happy kid! Pics in their own backyard just made it even more magical. Such great parents with one amazing kid!
