Client supports a suite of applications in order to provide Formula optimization and recipe management to our users / factories in almost every company Market. During the next year, we will be migrating all support for the European Formula optimization application from its current location in Europe to our team in the U.S. This includes migration of the hardware, software and technical support of this application, along with the associated interface software and servers. This project will require coordination of many tasks across the US and European businesses.

Job Summary:
As the primary point of contact for a suite of Formulation and optimization tools this role will support the maintenance, usage and ongoing operations of the tools, data and processes that are utilized in the renovation and optimization of production. This role will require you apply knowledge and expertise from the areas of food science, formula optimization and/or animal feed industries to the issues and questions involved in the use of formulation tools. Work closely with local Applications groups, factory personnel, international users, purchasing users IT systems groups and others in order to maintain a world class center of excellence of recipe management and formula optimization within company.

Description of Responsibilities:
This role will involve:

- Technical and business level support of the Format Optimization software.
- Maintain ongoing contact and communications with Application group users in factories around the world.
- Test new application releases and functionality
- Configuration, setup and testing of all Format environments (QA, Pre-Production, Production),
- Ability to handle a variety of technical aspects of the Format software.
- Analyze and evaluate new requests for system functionalities and enhancements
- Document requirements and manage communications with Vendors.
- Write up test cases and use case scenarios for future testing cycles.
- Provide insights into formulation challenges and provide alternative solutions to production and optimization issues, within the scope of the application.
- The ability to provide feedback and clear concise information to team leader and business owners.

The ideal resource would have strong Business Analysis experience in working on projects migrating from one platform to another. Experience with the HANA environment would be ideal. SAP Sales & Distribution knowledge is required. Must have the ability to quickly learn and understand custom developments and configurations that have been made to a highly customized SAP environment in the Sales and Distribution area. Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist – This position will serve as the subject matter expert to fully support and troubleshoot all aspects of our global Learning Management System.
