One day. Two very different ways of serving our clients.

The morning started with a networking event, where Amy connected with local professionals, shared HOME Allies resources, and strengthened relationships with the people we trust to care for our clients.

By afternoon, she had traded brochures for bins and was doing what she loves most—helping a client create a more organized, peaceful home.

That's what a day at HOME Allies often looks like.

Building relationships in the community so we can better serve our clients... then rolling up our sleeves and getting to work.

Because great organizing isn't just about containers and labels. It's about having the right people, the right resources, and the right support when you need them most.

Meet Shannon: HOME Allies' Curious Problem Solver

If you've ever wondered what makes a professional organizer so good at what they do, ask Shannon.

As co-owner of HOME Allies and a Certified Professional Organizer, Shannon loves figuring out how people live in their homes—and finding thoughtful, practical solutions that make everyday life easier. With a background in Psychology and Sociology, she's fascinated by how people think, process, and navigate life's transitions, bringing both compassion and creativity to every project.

Whether she's leading a team, working one-on-one with a client, or helping someone prepare for a move, Shannon's goal is always the same: helping people feel lighter, more confident, and better supported in their space.

Outside of HOME Allies, you'll find her watching Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, or K-Dramas, traveling, hiking, enjoying live music, or belting out karaoke. And if you hear her humming while she works...don't be surprised. She says there's always a song playing somewhere in her head. 🎶

For Shannon, helping clients create calmer, more functional homes isn't just a career—it's her *ikigai*: a true sense of purpose.

Meet Amy: HOME Allies' Chaos to Calm Expert

For as long as she can remember, Amy has loved organizing. In fact, owning a professional organizing business was a dream she imagined back in high school—and today, she's living it.

After moving more than 15 times across multiple states and even overseas, Amy understands that every move is more than just boxes. It's a major life transition, often filled with excitement, uncertainty, and emotion.

Known for her patience, listening skills, and ability to create a plan when life feels overwhelming, Amy has a gift for helping clients move from chaos to calm. Whether she's organizing a home, coordinating a move, or supporting someone through a big life change, she meets every client with compassion, experience, and practical solutions.

When she's not helping clients, you'll likely find Amy chasing sunshine, hiking a favorite trail, exploring a national park, enjoying a concert, or spending time with her two boys.

Helping people create calmer homes—and calmer lives—isn't just Amy's career. It's the dream she's been building all along. 💙

Last month, I was looking through an old jewelry box for something specific, and I picked up a hunk of tangled necklaces. Underneath (and all over the place), little gold beads were rolling around. I remember those! They came from my mom's old add-a-bead necklace! I moved on with my day. Not long after, I visited my local jeweler to get a ring resized, and a buying event was going on. I mentioned to the jeweler about what I had found in an old jewelry box. He encouraged me to bring them in. I walked out with a check for $1,287.50!!!!!!! Take a few minutes and look through an old jewelry box. You never know what you'll find!

Meet Anna: HOME Allies' Visionary Organizer & Packing Pro 🌿📦

Where some people see clutter, Anna sees possibility.

Before the work even begins, she can envision how a space will be transformed—from disorganized to functional, and from messy to beautiful. Whether she's organizing a room or carefully packing a home for a move, Anna helps clients focus on what matters most while making the process feel less overwhelming.

Having moved her own family across town and across the country, Anna understands that every move comes with its own challenges. She loves creating order from chaos and finding "a place for everything, and everything in its place."

Outside of HOME Allies, you'll find Anna hiking trails, exploring national parks, working in her garden, and planting Missouri native plants to support our pollinators. 🌼🐝

As Audrey Hepburn said, "To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow." We think that perfectly captures Anna's hopeful spirit and the care she brings to every client she serves.

Meet Jazzy: HOME Allies' "Get Stuff Done" Specialist 💪

A former boss once gave Jazzy the unofficial title of "Get S*** Done Specialist." And we agree! Jazzy has a gift for helping people move from "I don't know where to start," to "That was easier than I thought!"

Her encouraging, judgment-free approach helps clients tackle overwhelming projects one manageable step at a time. Whether you're decluttering, downsizing, preparing for a move, or simply trying to get your home to work better for your family, Jazzy knows how to help you build momentum.

If you've been putting off a project because it feels too big, Jazzy would tell you the same thing she tells her clients: "Small steps and good support can make all the difference."
