Here is a quick embedding tip that can make a big difference at the end of a long day. When embedding tissue in wax vary the orientation so they are not all facing the same direction. When you and your pathologist are working through several cases it is easy for things to get mixed up when everything looks identical. Small adjustments in your workflow can prevent big mistakes. This is the kind of knowledge that does not always make it into a textbook but matters every single day at the bench.
