Schedule: Full-Time, 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday through Friday
Location: Tualatin, OR

We’re looking for a Metal Grinder / Finisher to set up and operate grinding, sanding, and polishing tools to finish metal parts to exact specifications. This bonus-eligible position plays a key role in delivering the high-quality finishes our customers expect.

🔧 What You’ll Do:
- Grind, sand, and polish metal parts to meet cosmetic and dimensional standards
- Blend welds and edges using hand tools and finishing equipment
- Operate tumblers, vibratory equipment, and graining machines
- Maintain tools and perform basic preventive maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and keep a clean, organized workspace

What You’ll Do:
- Operate Haas ST15Y Lathe, Haas TM-0P, TM-3P 3 axis mills or Haas UMC-500 5 axis mill
- Perform CNC setup & operation, tool selection, and G&M code input
- Read blueprints & inspect parts to ensure precision (± .005 tolerance)
- Troubleshoot & optimize production runs for quality results
- Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years in a metal manufacturing environment
- Strong CNC lathe & mill setup & operation experience
- Ability to read drawings, make offset changes, & inspect parts
- Experience with Haas controls and G&M codes a plus
- Solid math skills, including trigonometry

Typically works as needed in various work areas:
Shear
Deburr
Hardware
Tap/Drill/Countersink
CNC Punch
Shaking parts/lading blanks/deburr
Manual 30/30
Punch; pre-setup machine
Forming; pre-setup machine,
Deburr/DA/Grind/Grain to cosmetic finishes
Mask/Unmask
Load/Unload baskets and racks
Assists in Assembly and Packaging
Follows established safety protocols including required usage of PPE; helps to maintain a safe working environment
Keeps work area clean and organized
Performs other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Minimum skills, knowledge, education, certifications and related job experience that employee typically must have to perform essential functions of the job acceptably.

Basic math and measurement skills
Blueprint reading skills a plus
Strong hand/eye coordination
Strong desire to learn assigned operations
Hand truck operation
Pallet-jack operation
Strong attention to detail
Dependability; honesty & integrity; a positive, proactive attitude; ability to use time productively, working with minimal supervision both individually and as part of a team.

Reads travelers, prints and assembly documentation
Assembles parts or sub-parts using power or hand tools; checks for proper fit, makes adjustments
Performs visual inspection of completed assembly
May assist with packaging and shipping or other production areas as needed
May instruct and direct less experienced operators
Cleans and organizes workstation
Maintains tools
Follows established safety protocols including required usage of PPE; helps to maintain a safe working environment
Keeps work area clean and organized
Performs other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Minimum skills, knowledge, education, certifications and related job experience that employee typically must have to perform essential functions of the job acceptably.
