We are officially in Veraison here at Potomac Point Winery! 🎉 This stunning cluster is the very top of our Merlot vines, just starting to swap its bright summer green for those rich, deep purple hues.
Veraison is one of the most exciting times of the year in the vineyard. It signals the official transition from berry growth to ripening, where the grapes stop growing, start developing their sugars, and get ready for harvest.
Nature is doing its magic—which means harvest season is just around the corner! 🍷✨
