I finally made it to my first 1 Million Cups, and I’m so glad I did! It was such a great morning of coffee, conversations, connections, and learning from people who are passionate about what they do.

A big thank you to May Herrera, John Marshall Bank for sponsoring the coffee and for supporting this wonderful entrepreneurial community!

What makes 1 Million Cups different from other networking groups is that it gives business owners and entrepreneurs a chance to get in front of the community, share what they’re building, talk about the challenges they face, and get valuable feedback and connections.

As someone who works with business owners every day, I know how valuable it is to have conversations like these. We all have different areas of expertise, but at the end of the day, we're all working toward the same goal building businesses that can thrive and succeed.

I walked away with new connections, some great takeaways, and an even greater appreciation for the incredible entrepreneurial community we have right here.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember.

At 610 Merchant Services, Memorial Day is much more than the unofficial start of summer. It is a time to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Because of their courage and selflessness, we are able to enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted. Gathering with family, celebrating with friends, cheering for our teams, and living freely in this great nation.

Memorial Day reminds us that freedom comes at a profound cost, paid by heroes who never made it home. Their sacrifice, and the families who carry that loss, should never be forgotten.

We are still celebrating that our very own Patricia Leonard Pollaci was named the 2025 Woman of the Year by the Fredericksburg Area Builders Association (FABA)

This honor could not go to a more deserving person. Even if Patty herself might not see it that way. It’s simply second nature for Patty to give so much of herself to others, always showing up to support, encourage, and lift up those around her. Often with glitter and confetti! 🎊✨

True to who she is, Patty is incredibly humbled by this recognition. But to everyone who has had the privilege of working with her or knowing her, this award comes as no surprise. Her dedication, generosity, and impact on the community speak for themselves.

The Spotsylvania Career and Tech Center Carpentry students made all the awards for this event. Their craftsmanship and hard work helped make this event even more special. Super special shout out to our dear friend Tammy Reid for making Patty a one of a kind award and for keeping the glitter contained. 😂🎊
