This year’s Benefit Event celebrated the 20th Anniversary of SmartMove, HDF’s signature program helping first-time homebuyers achieve homeownership. 🏡

For 20 years, SmartMove has provided low-interest down payment assistance, helping buyers put down as little as 1% of the purchase price, access closing cost support, and receive FREE homeownership counseling.

A huge thank you to our partner banks for making 20 years of SmartMove possible. Through this collaboration, HDF has continued to grow its homebuyer support and expand access to homeownership opportunities across Connecticut.
