Happy Saturday from our haven in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's our next to last open weekend of 2021 and we'll be open today and tomorrow from 11am until 6pm. First come, first serve seating is available at outdoor umbrella tables in our Boxwood Garden, on our covered patio, and there's very limited seating inside the Tasting Room. Families, picnics, and well behaved leashed dogs are welcome. Be sure to stock up on your Kilaurwen wines, great for enjoying with your holiday meals, as well as hostess gifts, etc. Our Kilaurwen Red & White Bundle are on special through the month.
Your visit will also give you the opportunity to check out the art works by Sarah Gondwe, which continue on display in the Tasting Room until the end of November. Gondwe is self taught and works with a new technique which involves scraping bits of crayon onto canvas, wood, glass or metal, then using a hot iron to melt and shape the crayon into freeform design. She is a member of the Art Guild of Greene and her art pieces are available for viewing and/or purchase
