UC Berkeley iGEM 2012

UC Berkeley iGEM 2012 Teams compete in their regional jamborees first; those that qualify will then advance to the World Championship Jamboree at MIT.

The International Genetically Engineered Machines (iGEM) Competition is an undergraduate biotechnology "Olympics" and the pre-eminent international event for synthetic biology. iGEM challenges teams of students from universities around the world to design and implement a synthetic biology project over the summer and present their results in juried competition in the fall.
