I have a client with a good bit of Black Walnut, 12”+ on the small end, with several much larger crotch pieces.

It’s not really suitable for slabs or standard lumber, but there’s lots of great turning and bandsaw material!

Big things are happening at Williams Custom Woodcuts!

We’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be offering kiln-dried lumber, with the capability to dry material up to 20 feet long.

We’ve also been hard at work in the shop on some stunning custom tables over the past few weeks. They’re almost ready, and we can’t wait to share the finished photos with you soon!

It’s not done yet, still have a few coats left to put on but I’m really pleased with the way this sycamore top has turned out. It’s so much character throughout . Iv had this wood cut for several years and just been waiting for the right project. This will be an island top 6’ x 40”wide.

Great news !!! I finally have my planer hooked up and working correctly. What a difference 3ph and and a 25” wide helix head cutter make. If you need wide slabs planned, I can do it just send a message so we can schedule.
Also a little before and after, I also have a lot of dry walnut that’s planned and ready for your projects!!

We are cutting some really nice pine , 30”plus trees will yield a lot of nice lumber !!

I cut some really nice magnolia, around 20” wide. I will make some nice bowls out of what I keep. Also cut cut up some cypress that was old growth , so lots of character and grain showing. Sorry no pictures of the cypress, I will post some pictures when I start working with it.
