🔥 IT’S PROPANE SEASON, PEOPLE! 🔥

Okay… technically propane is an all-year thing. But it’s getting chilly, so now everybody suddenly remembers how much they appreciate that big ol’ tank sitting outside. 😂

So we want to know… what does propane do for YOU?

Our office manager, Marlena, is apparently pretty dependent on the stuff:
🔥 Heats the house
🚿 Heats the water
🍳 Cooks the food

Basically, take away the propane and she’s cold, dirty, AND hungry. 😂

🔥 A little PSA from Dan’s Propane! 🔥

We’re out checking propane tank levels at some of our customers’ ranches!

So if you look out the window and see a random 4’11” person wandering around your property, please don’t be alarmed. 😂 I’m just a little guy doing my job!

We know that out here in the middle of nowhere, seeing an unfamiliar vehicle or someone walking around your place can definitely make you wonder what’s going on. I promise I’m not up to anything exciting. I’m probably just trying to find your propane tank, check the level, and be on my way!

So if you spot me roaming around your ranch, now you know. It’s just your friendly neighborhood propane lady making sure you don’t run out. 🔥😂

🔥 Replacing a Gas Appliance? Read This First!

Not all gas appliances are the same.

A natural gas appliance is NOT automatically a propane appliance.

If you're installing a new stove, furnace, water heater, fireplace, or other gas appliance, make sure it is either:

✔️ Specifically designed for propane (LP), or
✔️ Properly converted using the manufacturer's approved propane conversion kit (if the appliance is convertible).

Operating a natural gas appliance on propane without the proper conversion can CREATE A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD, damage the appliance, and prevent it from operating correctly.

Before you purchase or install a new gas appliance, take a moment to verify it's approved for propane. If you have questions, give Dan's Propane a call. We're always happy to help make sure you're set up safely.

🚨 If You Smell Gas... Don't Wait.

That "rotten egg" smell is there for a reason—it's your early warning that something isn't right.

If you smell gas:

🚫 No flames or sparks. Don't operate lights, appliances, telephones, or cell phones.

🏃 Leave the area immediately.

🔒 Shut off the propane supply if it's safe to do so.

📞 From a safe location, call Dan's Propane. Even if the odor is faint or you're not completely sure it's a leak, we'd much rather come check it out than have you ignore a potential problem. Your safety is our number one priority.

🚨 If you can't reach us or you believe there is an immediate danger, call 911 or your local fire department.

Don't go back inside until it's been determined that it's safe to do so.
