General information

Founded by Angela D'Aiuto, community activist, not-for-profit consultant and social entrepreneur with experience in community organizing, community development, entrepreneurial training and not for profit management. After working for various bureaucratic not-for-profit organizations, I decided to create something unique that truly values community. Having founded the S.I. Suit Up Program to assist unemployed men and women living on Staten Island by providing new and gently worn business attire, a need was realized for these services and more to assist Staten Islanders directly impacted by Hurricane Sandy. The Partnership has teamed up with several small businesses , organizations and individuals that have demonstrated integrity in serving Staten Islanders, and believe in a sustainable Staten Island.
