Homicide investigation update

Regarding the double homicide reported on 2/29/24 at the Days Inn, detectives have issued arrest warrants charging Kentaevious Davis (20, Glennville, Ga) with two counts of Felony Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault. Davis is at large and should be considered armed and dangerous. He is believed to have fled the Statesboro/Bulloch County area.

The autopsies of the victims are scheduled for Monday, 3/4/24, at the GBI’s Coastal Crime Lab. While detectives believed that they have identified both decedents, they will wait for confirmation Monday prior to releasing any names.

It is said in the bible that King David was a man after Gods heart. He was mighty and a great king. David had a son named Solomon who was referred to the wisest king in history.

Though these men were not perfect. They were great and mighty men. So it was an honor to be able to speak to the youth of The City of David church.
