We’re so excited for Kayla Bol Kayla Bol to make a return to our account this week! Read more about Kayla below ⤵️

Kayla Bol is a part-time studio artist, part-time homeschool mom living in northwestern Wisconsin with her husband, son, and two cats. Atypical of most kids, she had the unique opportunity to travel the world throughout her adolescent years and into adulthood. Her experiences of different cultures and scenery around the globe have informed Kayla’s approach to exploring the potentials of ceramics, fibers and painting and how they intertwine. She attained her BFA at UW Madison in 2019 and has since focused her practice on functional pottery.

“I’m passionate about creating pieces that inspire joy in people’s daily routines and favorite spaces. My work is developed by hand painting, floral, botanical, and folk-art motifs on my pottery with underglaze. Inspiration for my pieces come from observation of pattern, texture and color in nature, and the different cultures I’ve visited around the world.”

We are thrilled to say Lori Lori Elling will be taking over our account this week! Lori’s funky and organic work takes us to another time and place entirely. Read more about Lori below ⤵️

Lori Elling is an emerging ceramic artist based in Metro Vancouver, Canada. She is informally educated thru a mix of online and local workshops, classes, and interactions with established ceramicists and potters.
Lori creates functional ceramics for the kitchen and table, with a strong focus on surface design. Her surfaces are abstract, bold, and maximalist, with saturated color palettes and embossed relief. Her forms are rooted in practicality, simplicity and functionality, with a bit of flair.

Since 2024, Lori has participated in several juried group exhibitions in the USA and Canada. Earlier this summer she taught her first clay workshop on surface design at the Ceramic School’s Clay Camp.

It’s our delight to have on our account this week! Heidi’s brightly colored and cozy ceramic work never fails to fill us with joy (no pun intended!) Read more about Heidi below ⤵️

Heidi Fahrenbacher is an artist and educator from Plainwell, MI. She graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and Art History from Kalamazoo College. She is inspired by the contrasts that make colors really pop like neon lights on a dark rainy night, brightly colored flowers against all green foliage, and autumn leaves vibrant against a gray November sky. It is these details of color observation that go into my pottery.

Her work is sold nationwide in galleries and gift shops and has been featured on the Today Show, the Museum of Art and Design, 500 Ceramics Sculptures, and 500 Ceramic Vases. She has written for Pottery Making Illustrated, presented at the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA), and Michigan Mud.
