I have SO much to be grateful for! When evacuated for wildfires on Tuesday (it seems like all of Oregon is on fire) my son and his bride insisted we stay with them, and for that I am grateful!
In my rush to leave my home of 25 years I did remember to grab my work computer - I am grateful for that!
After last weeks wedding I did not fully unload van and so my floral tool box was with me - I am grateful for that!
filled my order with beautiful blooms - I am grateful for that! My son generously gave me the run of his garage to turn into my design space, I am grateful for that! He has a huge curly willow tree in his back yard - I am REALLY grateful for that. But I am most grateful and honored to work with sweet bride Alissa, who had to change dates and venues due to Covid and then the week of her wedding the town she was born and raised in was put on notice of Level 2 - be ready To evacuate. But she knows what’s important, not the tables, the napkins or any other of the expensive trappings of a wedding. She is going marry her groom tomorrow somewhere, somehow! And she will have beautiful flowers when she does, and for that I am grateful!
