Leadership training loves words nobody can act on.
Influence. Executive Presence. Emotional intelligence.
You leave the workshop nodding, get back to your desk, and the person you’ve been avoiding a conversation with for six weeks is still sitting 10 feet away.
Nothing about “presence” tells you what to say to them Tuesday at 2pm.
I’ve spent close to a decade working with leaders in the middle. Managers, ops leaders, regional leaders, executives, and founders.
The pattern is always the same.
They don’t have a values problem. They have a “nobody ever showed me the actual way to solve this” problem.
So my whole job is turning the intangible into something you can define.
❌ Not “give better feedback”
❌ Not “build trust”
❌ Not “manage up”
Actual structure. Actual words. Something you can use again in March on a completely different problem.
Defined skills every time. Inspired wears off by Thursday.
