Outdoor Venture Corporation, OVC, recently celebrated a Golden 50 Year Anniversary!!!! The evening began with a color guard presentation and included a special military field experience by keynote speaker, Col. (Ret.) Danny E. Davis. Col. (Ret.) Davis being from McCreary County shared his sentiments about the shelter that he received during war time from OVC. As a warfighter, the product received brought more than shelter from the elements, it also brought a little piece of home simply because of the origin. The evening continued with a special presentation by the Distinguished Guest, Congressman Hal Rogers. Congressman Rogers expressed his pride for the people of McCreary County and their contributions to the success of Outdoor Venture Corporation.
The CEO, JC Egnew, and President, Ray Moncrief, shared historical accounts of the experiences that made OVC the company it is today.

You have proven yourself to be the consummate “statesman” and we Kentuckians will forever be in your debt. The many projects that you have assisted Outdoor Venture Corporation with over the last 40 years are a testimony of your dedication to assisting people and companies in the 5th Congressional District. In many situations companies that you have assisted may not even be in existence today without your valuable support. OVC is currently looking for full time machine operators for 1st shift. Regular operating hours are Mon - Thursday 6:00 - 4:30. Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
