🍁 Tree Talk Tuesday 🍁 Here's your weekly branch of knowledge:

Summer storms can put added stress on trees with weak limbs or structural issues.

Dead branches, cracked limbs, and dense canopies may increase the likelihood of storm damage during high winds.

Preventative care can help reduce risk before severe weather arrives.

🍁 Tree Talk Tuesday 🍁 Here's your weekly branch of knowledge:

Newly planted trees require different care than established trees.

Young trees typically need more consistent watering and monitoring during their first few growing seasons while roots become established.

Summer heat can be especially stressful on newly planted trees.

Any concerns before or after planting a new tree? Call us for a free quote (800) 404-9390.

Pollinator Week begins next week 🐝🌳

Healthy trees and landscapes do more than improve curb appeal - they help support pollinators and local ecosystems throughout Southeast Michigan.

Flowering trees, healthy canopies, and properly maintained landscapes all play a role in creating stronger outdoor environments during the growing season.

At J.H. Hart, Plant Health Care is about supporting long-term landscape health from the ground up.

🍁 Tree Talk Tuesday 🍁 Here's your weekly branch of knowledge:

Does your tree have "flare"? Well, it should! One of the most significant causes of stress in landscape trees is stem-girdling roots. In some cases, trees are planted too deeply. In other cases, they've been given the notorious "mulch volcano". Both situations create an opportunity for roots to encircle the "root flare" and eventually strangle your tree by preventing it from absorbing water and nutrients from the soil. If your tree looks stressed and you can't find the flare, have one of our Certified Arborists inspect it to prevent further damage before it's too late!

The shade you enjoy in the summer starts with long-term tree care. 🌳

Healthy trees provide cooler outdoor spaces, help protect landscapes from heat, and make time spent outside more comfortable during Metro Detroit summers.

Caring for trees now helps support healthy growth for seasons to come.
