𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆
The Project Manager will serve in a Design engineering leadership role, providing expertise and management oversight for complex major construction project(s).
𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Provide responsive management oversight and administration throughout all phases of professional services design engineering projects.
• Ensure successful delivery of projects of significant scale and considerable complexity on time, on budget, high quality, and environmental compliance.
• Provide Independent Assurance and Independent Oversight for interstate and arterial construction and related transportation facilities.
• Ensure environmental, safety, and quality compliance and oversee utility coordination throughout the construction process.
• Actively monitors scope, schedule & budget and prepares cost estimates as needed.
• Provide project oversight, support, and technical advice and performs contractor performance evaluations.
• Ensure inspection tasks are adequately covered and all project construction activities are accurately documented.
• Conduct construction progress meetings to resolve construction-related issues and partnering meetings to ensure both stakeholder coordination and citizen concerns are resolved.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 / 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Experience with professional engineering practice with Federal, State, Transportation and County agencies and infrastructure
• Experience with obtaining permits from multiple agencies simultaneously
• Management of teams and multi disciplined employees and company relationships
• Project Management credentials or industry training showing dedication to excellence in project management functions.
𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱/𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, civil or mechanical preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in civil infrastructure, development, and construction
𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀/𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘀
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• NCEES record for multiple state licensing
