In case you want to know a little about this piece -- these figures are known as Luohan, which are enlightened disciples of Buddha, revered in Buddhism for their wisdom and spiritual attainment. They are often depicted with distinct, sometimes humorous, expressions and gestures, each embodying a different aspect of the path to enlightenment.
The small green bowls in front of them most likely contain matcha, a traditional finely ground green tea deeply intertwined with contemplative practices in East Asian cultures. The act of preparing and drinking matcha is often a meditative ritual, which perfectly complements the serene and thoughtful nature of the Luohan.

This frame of Rakim -- an American rapper -- is framed in a simple way, using a 1" wide black mat with a white core and a contemporary mat-black frame with white edges. That's a fascinating display of Joint Force Quarterly, a journal known for its insights into national security! Framed exquisitely showing an article featured in the magazine as by reducing the pages and displaying them in 3D fashion to make the piece pop.

This is one of a kind for us. It's a new product/type and style of framing. This technique is called edge-lighting. When a light source is placed along the side of a clear/colored piece of acrylic, the light travels through the material via total internal reflection (TIR). The light stays trapped inside until it hits an engraving, scratch, or polished edge, which causes the light to scatter outward and glow.

This was the perfect art piect for trying this out -- and it looked great. This piece is quite large, about 49" x 44". We also used a non-reflective acrylic with 99% UV protection. This will keep the art from fading over time.

Now that you have seen this, I am sure you have something for us to frame!!

These are congressional license plates that we framed.

A tennis racket encased (framed) using a matt-black shadow box style frame and protected from UV light by using museum glass. As you can see (or not) there isn't much reflection on the glass. The tennis racket is mounted on black suede board at a slight angle so that the signature can be seen. Can we frame anything for you?
