Today we celebrate the one and only Randy Maurer, ABI’s founder, Master Code Professional, Plans Examiner, and all-around superhero of the building inspection world! 🦸‍♂️

Randy launched Associated Building Inspections from his home office back in 1994, and 31 years later, his impact still echoes through every blueprint, permit, and inspection report we touch. With 37 ICC certifications (yes, thirty-seven!), including Certified Fire Marshal, and 38+ years of experience, Randy is the walking encyclopedia of code enforcement.

But wait—there’s more! When he’s not decoding building codes, Randy’s on the airwaves as WA3HLP, an active Amateur Radio Operator and proud member of the Military Auxiliary Radio System. Oh, and he also founded Middle Creek Search & Rescue. Because of course he did. 🚨📡🧭

Randy, your dedication, brilliance, and quirky radio call signs make ABI what it is today. Happy birthday!
