As an environmental consultant, he has authored dozens of environmental assessments and studies in numerous states, conducted for a variety of private and government clients. The company’s founder, Ron Pifer, was tr

ained in engineering at Duke University and applied ecology at the University of Colorado. His experience spans decades and includes engineering, environmental impact studies, aquaculture research and development, teaching, and developing bacterial products for a variety of applications, including the fat, oil, and grease digester for Jay R. Smith, called the Remediator. In addition, he was Vice-President of Solar Aquafarms, Inc., which developed and implemented state-of-the-art ecological systems for treating wastewater and growing fish, shrimp, and spirulina algae. He has also taught science in college, high school, and junior high.
