Another large scale Boulder/Steps project about to wrap up. An above average challenge with some of the worst access I’ve experienced in a while - and approx. 50,000lbs of material through one steep/narrow gate.
A few plants, mulch and perhaps some lighting will add the finishing touches. 👷🏻‍♀️🔨🏡🇺🇸

“Proof of Life”…
Wrapping up phase 1 of backyard pool hardscapes. Pallets 24 & 25 going in today to complete step areas allowing for continuous hard surfaces all throughout.
Still operating approx 3-4 weeks behind schedule, but much better from early spring. Installing/material gathering as much as possible so some administrative tasks have fallen behind.
It was a harsh winter - and outdoor areas suffered, leading to a lot of questions and calls. Doing the best I can to keep up with that while still moving forward. 👷🏻‍♀️🔨🏡🇺🇸

Every yr is one item that virtually overnight disappears in this industry. And this is a big one. Used at many many residential and commercial properties…🤦🏻‍♂️🎪🤷🏻‍♂️🏡

(27) B & B evergreens property screening.
And (5) custom natural stone pillars - both wrapping up soon, with so many more materials being delivered all across the region to be installed. Fully booked still for the rest of ‘26. And even planning some large items for ‘27 😲

Winter ‘25-26 certainly proved to be what winters of the mid Atlantic used to be. It also takes a heavy toll on masonry and landscape areas of properties… In an effort to best serve existing, valued clients and those that were ahead in planning for projects this yr., I won’t be accepting any new work offers for 2026.
It makes it almost impossible to still be operating from behind, planning all the details of on the books work, and yielding dozens of messages on new items. Best advice I can ever give after 30 yrs in the industry is plan well ahead of contractor schedules.
Some trades operate on a service work - one day project/flexible scheduling basis. Most construction or large landscape build companies simply cannot.

Thankful for so much trust with some wonderful properties over the years. 🔨🏡🇺🇸

Scheduling update - back at it from a lengthy multi month weather pause, first couple pics. Now hoping we don’t get into a rainy/wet pattern with temps moderating. Tricky balance for 12 months of work into maybe 7, or even 6. 🤦🏻‍♂️🔨
2026 schedules are all but maxed out. Projects estimated yrs back, have come in approved as of late. Never wait till Spring hits to plan a Spring outdoor project. 🏡
Final two pictures are of my own backyard. It was demoed 4 yrs ago now, and it gets last priority for rebuilding over any client project. Thankful for a patient/wonderful wife 🙏🏼👷🏻‍♀️🇺🇸
