My Story: Resilience in the Ledger

In 2009, I found myself standing at a crossroads — newly divorced and unsure of what the future held. But I knew one thing: I wasn’t going to let my past define me.

With grit and determination, I returned to school and earned my degree in Accounting and Entrepreneurial Studies in 2013. That same year, I planted the seeds of Tracy’s Bookkeeping Company, turning a side hustle into something more — a lifeline, a purpose, and a path forward.

For years, I juggled the demands of work, life, and business — building trust, balancing books, and helping small business owners tame their financial chaos. But life threw another curveball in 2021: cancer. A diagnosis that could have knocked me down for good. Instead, it lit a fire. I fought, I healed, and I came back stronger than ever.

Then, in June of 2024, I lost my job — a moment that might have felt like the end, but for me, it was a sign. A sign to go all in. To bet on myself. To take everything I’ve survived, everything I’ve learned, and pour it into the business I built with my own two hands.

Now, I help other business owners find clarity, peace of mind, and confidence in their finances — because I know what it’s like to rebuild, to start fresh, and to fight for your future.

This is more than bookkeeping.
It’s resilience.
