We’re proud to see these talented students showcase their skills and represent the future of the auction profession.

Preston Barnes is from Pendleton, South Carolina, and is a proud member of the Pendleton FFA Chapter. As a second-generation auctioneer, he has followed in his father’s footsteps and credits him with teaching him the skills and values of the auctioneering profession. Preston is competing this week in honor of his father and hopes to make him proud. When he is not auctioneering, he enjoys spending time outdoors, caring for his farm animals, and hunting. Preston is excited for the opportunity to compete this week and showcase his passion for the industry.

Finalists will compete tomorrow the Inaugural Auctioneering CDE Finals. All finalist will receive a buckle and the top three will be named Grand Champion, Reserve Champion and Runner-Up.

Jace Miller is 14 years old and is a 9th grader at West-Oak High School. Jace has been an active FFA member since he was in 6th grade. He enjoys participating in CDEs and attending educational events with the chapter. Jace would to continue his agricultural career post high school.
