Susanne Lavery, Ph.D. founded the Stillwater Scotopic Sensitivity Institute in 2018 in Oklahoma to help individuals who experience challenges with reading, visual comfort, and light sensitivity.

Dr. Lavery is a certified Irlen Screener with several years of experience helping people better understand their visual needs.

She is passionate about making reading a more comfortable and enjoyable experience and believes that everyone should be able to enjoy reading without it feeling exhausting.
