Buckin J Farrier Services & Training Natural Trim ~ Horse Training The Natural Trim is modeled after the wild horses hoof. And you will never see a piece of metal on their feet. The Toes are rolled.

They run forty miles a day and you will hardly ever see a cracked hoof, white line disease, navicular problems or any problems that we deal with in our domestic horses. All the horses in our barn are barefoot and I ride them up and down gravel roads through boulders and I never have one take

The natural trim is the hoof should be short we do not want little to no hoof wall extending p

ast the soul. We want the heels low and the soles to be concaved and the frog like rawhide. In the natural trim the bars should descend to the wide frog. There should be no splits or grooves in the hoof. The purpose of Natural Trimming is to have a balance solid hard hoof. Buckin J Horse Training takes a quiet light handed gentle approach to breaking your horse. I spent year and a half learning under Clinton Andersons program. But every trainer learns and adapts as they go. I have trained for many big barns such as Busy B Arena for 3 years. I rode for Vallejo 3 and rode for Nick Kinch quarter horses. With us your horse will never be cowboy up, abused or starved. You will be able to come see your horse anytime because we have an open barn policy. Buckin J also offers a 5 day class after your horse is done with his training. This is so the rider/owner can be taught what the horse has learned so they have no confusion when they come together as horse and rider.

I have some rescue horses coming in that really need to find homes. If anyone is interested in providing a great loving home, and is able to take care of one or two please contact me. Hay and grain is outrageous right now and i am already feeding other rescues. Even if it's just a temporary home till we can find a permanent one, after we evaluate them and see what they know or don't know. Please private message me.
