Water is very powerful! Stay safe and Kind out there guys. I have developed an app (mostly for PA - but will work fine for IA) it will help disaster victims recover from a disaster. It is free for 60 days and will let you add photos - makes a PDF of your photos with descriptions that you add. If your damage is not documented correctly - you do not receive the funds. This is to help communities recover.

For any counties, cities, tribes, or nonprofits that may become Public Assistance (PA) applicants: good documentation starts now, not after the declaration. Every hour of labor, piece of equipment, load of debris, and damaged site needs a record behind it before FEMA can reimburse it.

What a wonderful program!!! 🩵💙🩵

ONE WEEK to apply to the Hurricane Response Marine Debris Removal Fund, a partnership between National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and the NOAA Marine Debris Program.

The program will fund up to $11M for projects that remove marine debris from coastal communities in Florida, Georgia, Guam, North Carolina, and South Carolina affected by the 2023 and 2024 hurricane and typhoon seasons. Full proposals are due on October 21, 2026.
