⚠️ PUBLIC ASSISTANCE APPLICANTS — IMPORTANT! This is how the amount of Grant money the state is given is calculated.
Also, you will want to get started on your Damage Inventory. Your Damage Inventory (DI) is extremely important. Think of it as your MASTER LIST — the foundation for identifying and developing all of your potential FEMA projects.

📋 Document your damage early.
📍 Record GPS coordinates. Debris - GPS Cradle to Grave.
📸 Take photographs and videos.
📝 Describe exactly what was damaged.
⚠️ Debris - Contractor must have Federal and State permits
💰 Keep your costs and supporting documentation organized.

Indiana 211 is accepting damage reports for the counties mapped below.

To help establish a comprehensive assessment of damage, residents can call 866-211-9966 or visit the Indiana 211 website (on.in.gov/IN-211).

Collecting assessments via this process will help IDHS determine damage estimates and develop the next course of action in the disaster recovery process. 211 can also help residents connect to local resources to aid in response and recovery.

FEMA announced an $11.4 million funding opportunity for states and territories to make dams safer across the nation. This money is being administered through FEMA’s Rehabilitation of High Hazard Potential Dams grant program, which empowers communities to repair, replace, reconstruct or remove dams that put people and property at risk. Because many American communities rely on dams to prevent catastrophic flooding, this program is critical to disaster mitigation and prevention.

The Beulah, CO fire is getting worse. Now all of Colorado City has been evacuated. Yesterday size was 48,000 acres, this morning it's 66,000.
Gusty wind, and near 0% humidity will spread the fire fast again today.
