Dr. Diane Adoma Participated in Prestigious Build America Roundtable at the Library of Congress at the Invitation of Congressman Hank Johnson
DEKALB COUNTY, GA — Dr. Diane Adoma, a governmental affairs member of the National Association of Black Women in Construction , was personally invited by Congressman Hank Johnson to participate in the prestigious 2026 Build America Roundtable. Hosted by Congressman Johnson, a senior member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, this high-impact forum convened on Thursday, May 14, 2026, in the Member's Room at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. The exclusive event brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators from across the nation to collaborate on innovative solutions for America's roads, bridges, transit systems, and energy grids, while driving long-term economic resilience and job creation.
Dr. Adoma’s participation underscored NABWIC’s commitment to community empowerment and economic development. Since its inception in 2014, the Build America Series has been vital in expanding access to contracting opportunities and technology transfers for communities nationwide. Held during a pivotal legislative year, this roundtable offered a unique platform for Dr. Adoma to engage directly with transportation authorities, civil design firms, and emerging infrastructure leadership to help ensure vital federal investments and transformational economic opportunities are effectively delivered back home to the community.
