It’s Iowa State Fair season, which means the toughest decision of the week is what to eat first.

We’ll leave that debate to everyone else. We’ve got rocks to move.

Every company has one of those machines.

This CAT D6N has seen more than its fair share of sunrises, long days, and jobsites. It has helped prepare foundations, shape waterways, build ponds, and move countless yards of earth across Central Iowa.

It's easy to see a dozer. We see years of hard work, dedication, and the people who climbed into the seat every day determined to do the job right.

Is it the newest machine on every jobsite? No.
Is it the most advanced? No.

We've continued to invest in newer equipment and technology over the years, and we're proud of the fleet we run today. But every company has a few machines that become part of its story. This CAT D6N earned that place through thousands of hours, countless projects, and the people who made those hours count.

Ask a farmer about the tractor that's been in the family for decades. Ask someone about the pickup they wish they'd never sold. It was never just about the machine—it was about everything it was there for.

Around here, this CAT D6N is one of those machines.

With the Iowa heat we've been having, we're especially thankful for one feature that doesn't always get the credit it deserves—air conditioning in the cab.
