Attention Martin County Boaters: Recent underwater studies indicate shoaling around the St. Lucie Inlet and the Crossroads.

Boaters are asked to use caution when navigating this corridor at this time. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is scheduled to begin a mandatory inlet dredging project in July to improve the inlet's navigability.

If you would like more information, please contact Jessica Garland, Martin County Coastal Program Manager, at 772-288-5795.

Boat and yacht owners in South Florida know the importance of keeping their vessel's hull clean.
