Winter is a perfect time for massages, even if your horse isn't in heavy work. They help with circulation, improve range of motion, and support healthy skin and a shiny coat—especially important when your horse is wearing a blanket.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who entrusted us with their horses’ therapy needs at the International Buckskin World Show.

We had the opportunity to work with some of the top horses in the U.S., made wonderful new friends, and thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with those we met last year! We are incredibly grateful for all the extra work that went into our showing alongside our therapy sessions.

While working with the horses, we were amazed at our ability to convey their issues under saddle to their owners. We identified subtle signs, such as a slight tilt of the head or reduced shoulder reach, and discussed which direction the horses were weakest in terms of leads and lead changes.

The owners were pleasantly surprised that the horses, who typically exhibited personal space issues, such as biting or aggression, did not show these behaviors around us, even before we began our work together.

This experience has been tremendously helpful in building our confidence and addressing our insecurities. We hope to maintain this boost and continue putting ourselves out there. Our passion for this work is profound, and we are thankful for each horse we have the privilege to assist.

This year, we sponsored a large ranch pleasure class, which provided us with a fantastic learning experience regarding ranch classes. Moving forward, we are eager to explore more ranch classes and focus on less "raunchy" activities on the farm! 😆

Once again, we are deeply humbled by the generosity and trust that so many people have shown us.

I truly love what I do to help horses.

Being able to communicate to my clients the issues their horses experience under saddle, simply by what I feel while massaging them, is truly a gift. I was initially worried that I wouldn’t be able to express what I sensed in order to help both the horse and rider resolve their issues. I find great joy in conveying the messages the horses communicate to me and watching everything come together when the riders get back in the saddle.

I never thought I would experience that level of communication again after I stopped breaking and training horses for other people. I often struggle with self-confidence and, with this significant change, I constantly fear failure. While I am not yet close to making a living from this work, I genuinely enjoy it and am so glad that I have not given up or failed yet.

I cannot express how much it means to me to have wonderful clients with top-class horses that I get to assist. Thank you hardly begins to convey my gratitude to each and every one of you.
I could not do all this without the most supportive and as Alston Kerr says, PATIENT human in the world!
