Hey Fam! 🫶🏻 Happy Sunday! It all goes down today, May 3rd at 6:30PM EST | 3:30PM PST. The semi-finals and finals will be decided on the same stream ONLY by your votes, and it would mean the world if you helped us get the spot at one of the largest rock & metal festivals on the planet - LOUDER THAN LIFE. 🙏🏻 Let us know if you've got our backs and where (state, city or country) you'll be voting from. This could be a life-changing event for our band, so it's very important we all come together and make it happen!
If you’re new to this or could use a refresher, this is how it works:
- Create a FREE account on Twitch. They have an app for phones and tablets, and you can log in from any browser on a mac / PC. Don’t use it on SmartTVs though, you won’t be able to vote. If you have multiple computers / phones or family members willing to help you, create an extra account and ask them to join! 🤘🏼
- Follow DWPresents channel. You must be their follower to cast a vote.
- Set an alarm for Sunday MAY 3rd at 6:30PM EST (check with your time zone).
- Tune in to the live stream. The competition happens in a tournament style: 2 bands go head to head, the hosts play a clip from a music video of each band, then the audience votes for whoever they like. There will be TWO FINAL ROUNDS played out, the FINAL 4 and FINAL 2, so make sure to stick around if we go through!
- When the hosts say "it's time for you to vote". a pop-up window will appear on top of the chat box, you need to click on MAJOR MOMENT and then “VOTE”. You only have 1 minute to do it, so don’t snooze, or we’ll lose. 💀 If the window doesn't show up, just refresh the page.
- Take a screenshot of you vote and send it to us after the stream - you'll be entered in a merch giveaway! (yes, it will be a separate one from the Welcome To Rockville giveaway that we still need to run, so more chances to win for you).
