Continuing our “Spotlight on Snyder” series…

Did you know this West Texas favorite has been popping in Plainview since 1942? 🍿

Panhandle Popcorn Company got its start when the Glen Beard family moved to Plainview and began working with local farmers to grow and process special hybrids of popcorn.

More than 80 years later, the family-owned business is still in Plainview, making its signature gourmet popcorn while also supplying concession equipment and products.

It’s a fun piece of Plainview history and a great example of a local business that has grown far beyond its original roots.
