Large Grading project completed last month is Simsbury. We were contracted to help our customer gain some more usable space in their back yard. We excavated and removed over 800 yards of material behind the swimming pool to soften the slope. We used the excavated material to level off the side yard allowing for even more space to enjoy. We stumped and hauled away 120 yards of debris. We installed 170’ of perforated drain pipe to help mitigate water around the pool. We spread 180 yards of screened topsoil through the whole project area & to top it all off our friends at Barratt Enterprises LLC hydro seeded the finish grading.

Took back this hillside and installed some erosion control using 56 tons of Modified Rip Rap stone.

Large fill and grading job completed last year. Our customer had a steep back yard with only 8 feel separating the cliff from the corner of the house. We imported over 200 yard of fill, compacted in lifts and gained 12 additional feet of usable yard to make it around the house.

We installed filter fabric along the slope and spread wood chips to protect against erosion.

Finished up with screened topsoil to turn into usable lawn.
