It is that time again...we are preparing the next sale. Check out this video of this 100+ years old bottle. This bottle is "transnational history!" 📜 This is an original Hutchinson-style "blob top" soda bottle embossed with Uncle Sam's Pop Factory / New Iberia, La. / Drago Bros.
While the soda company was based right here in Louisiana, the "D inside a diamond" manufacturer's mark on the base tells an even bigger story. It reveals that the physical glass was blown by the Dominion Glass Company in Montreal, Canada, before being shipped down south to be filled with local pop. Love the deep history behind this antique find!...and if only the glass could talk!!!
