Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Shop-Based + Scheduled Field Work)
Location: Charleston / Summerville, SC Area
Pay: Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
Bonus: Sign-on bonus available
Schedule: Full-Time | Primarily Shop-Based with Planned Field Service

We’re hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support a diverse fleet of construction and material handling equipment. This position is primarily shop-based, with scheduled field service work—not constant dispatch or unpredictable road calls.
If you’re looking to get away from dealership repetition or nonstop field work, this role offers a strong balance of stability, variety, and real diagnostic work.

What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Perform preventative maintenance and major component repairs
Handle a mix of in-shop work and planned field service calls
Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple equipment brands
Work independently with minimal micromanagement
