Feature Presentation: Ebbie Jones

This week, we got to hear from Ebbie Jones with Pinnacle Financial Partners, and he gave us a great look at how he helps business owners navigate some of their biggest financial moments.

In his presentation Ebbie said to listen out for these four business moments:
GROW: “We need more space, people, or capacity.”
BUY: “We found equipment, a building, or a business.”
BRIDGE: “Cash comes in later than the bills go out.”
FIX: “Our current bank is slow, distant, or hard to reach.”
He's ready and happy to help find a banking solution that fits their need.

Those moments can be easy to recognize after the fact, but having the right banking relationship before the business owner has to figure it out on their own can make all the difference.

One of the best referral opportunities Ebbie gave us was a business owner who says:
“We’re ready to grow, but I’m not sure how to fund it.”

That’s the moment to make the introduction.

But anyone who knows Ebbie knows there is so much more to him than what he does professionally.

Ebbie has one of the biggest hearts in our chapter.
He is one of the first people to rally when someone is in need. He is always thinking about other people and looking for ways to make someone feel cared for and special.

He’s the kind of person who will bring someone food while they’re in the hospital. Or notice a photo that he thinks someone would appreciate, have it printed, put it in a frame, and give it to them simply because he thought it would make them smile.

That says a lot about who Ebbie is.

He doesn’t just look for opportunities to help people in business. He looks for opportunities to help people.

We had the pleasure of hearing Camryn Klaus' presentation for Five Star Bath Solutions of Charleston!

Camryn brings heart, drive, and determination to Five Star Bath Solutions, where she specializes in helping homeowners transform their bathrooms with beautiful, durable and low-maintenance bath and shower solutions.

Being the youngest person in the room, Camryn decided she needed to connect with the "elders" in the audience. Let’s just say there was a little Windows 98 energy happening on those slides. We were only missing the dancing paperclip and dial-up connection! The fonts, the graphics, the whole vibe had some of us wondering if we should dust off our old Gateway computers. And honestly… it worked! We loved it!!
