Today, I read a post from a group of resume writers, who provide 100% AI generated resumes, completely free, with a target audience of Veterans.

I am not certain on whether or not these writers get paid from Social Media revenue or if they are a charity and receive donations.

Either way, it's a free market! Do your thing, but stay in your own lane.

The post was chastising resume writers like myself and others, insinuating that we are crooks for charging transitioning veterans for resume writing services.

I found it out of touch with reality, poor taste, and a prejudice towards veterans, assuming they must choose whether or not to hire a professional service or pay for "rent" and "groceries". I think higher of our veterans.

If you care about veterans, then why would you simultaneously attempt to undermine Veteran Owned Resume "Hustles"? Because guess what...

I am a veteran and this isn't a hustle. It's my business.

My strategy is simple, transparent, honest, fair, and delivers on results. That's why my reviews have consistently been 5 stars for nearly 10 years.

I encourage every job seeker, veteran or not, who is financially strained to utilize and take advantage of free resume resources.

I also know that this statement rings true: You get what you pay for.

There is absolutely a market of job seekers who know the value that a professional resume writer brings to the table. It is an investment.
