I will never forget.

I was sitting in my 6th grade history class, when our teacher rolled a TV in. Back then, a TV being rolled into class was always exciting, but this time...it was silent.

We sat in anticipation of the teacher to say something, but he was too choked up by a lack of words and an overwhelm of emotions. He turned on the TV and we just sat there and watched.

I remember not understanding what I was watching. Then he paused it, and spoke. I can't remember what he said, but I remember how we felt.

Confused. Sad. Heavy. Uncertain.

A great resume isn't free, and a free resume usually isn't great.

AI-generated resumes are flooding the job market. What started as a helpful tool has created a new problem: volume over value.

Ten years ago, a mid-level job might receive 20–50 applications. Today, it's not uncommon to see 1,000+.

The keywords match. ATS flags candidates as qualified. Applications are submitted automatically. But matching keywords doesn't mean matching the employer's needs.

The result? Qualified candidates wonder why they're being overlooked, while employers sift through hundreds of resumes that all sound the same.
