I am a regular person who only wanted a better life. Like many others, I was drawn in by what looked like a genuine investment website—professional design, convincing promises, and constant reassurance from so-called account managers. At first, everything seemed real. I invested my savings, watched fake profits grow on the dashboard, and believed I was finally on the right path.
Then the problems started.
When I tried to withdraw my money, I was asked to pay more fees. Each payment came with a new excuse—tax clearance, liquidity fees, account unlocking charges. I tried everything I could think of to recover. I contacted customer support, reported the site, borrowed money, and explored every option I believed could help me get back on my feet. Nothing worked. The website eventually stopped responding, and I realized I had been scammed.
The emotional damage was worse than the financial loss. I felt ashamed, confused, and hopeless. I questioned my judgment and lost trust in everything online. It felt like my life had come to a standstill.
During this difficult time, while searching for legitimate ways to report the crime and understand my options, I came across information about IC3 (Internet Crime Complaint Center). Through this process, I finally felt heard. I learned how scams operate, how to properly document what happened, and how to protect myself going forward. More importantly, it gave me clarity, direction, and the strength to move on.
While I did not magically recover everything I lost, the knowledge and guidance I gained saved me from making further mistakes and falling into more traps. It helped me rebuild my confidence, regain control of my life, and educate others so they don’t repeat my experience.
This experience taught me a hard lesson: not every opportunity is real, and desperation can make anyone vulnerable. Today, my testimony stands as a reminder that awareness, proper reporting, and education are the real tools for survival after a scam.
It wouldn’t have been possible if not for the help of the iC3 sub agent you can hit the message button on my post or also to their hot line
