It may still be September, but the nor’eastern had other plans. 🍂🌧️
So I found a cute little sweater pattern and did what any reasonable person with an embroidery machine would do…

Made tiny sweaters. 🧶

Then I gave them paper clips because, well… of course I did.

Tiny sweaters. Tiny stitches. Tiny clips.

Sometimes the little things really are the best things. 🤎

I’m going to be honest: I picked up You Never Forget Your First: A Biography of George Washington by Alexis Coe because I thought the title was clever.
And then… I actually LOVED it. 😂📚

I’d been reading too much nonfiction and wanted a biography that felt a little different—and this one absolutely delivered.

Coe gives us George Washington beyond the familiar facts. His childhood. His relationship with his mother. His love of home. His desire to retire after the Revolutionary War… only to be pressured into becoming president. TWICE.

It was one of those books where I kept thinking, “Wait… why have I never heard THAT before?”

And naturally, a book about George Washington needed a patriotic bookmark. 🇺🇸
The Stars & Stripes star clip seemed like the obvious choice.
Books + history + tiny paper-clip joy = pretty much a perfect afternoon around here. ❤️📖

☕📚 I’m a girl who runs on Dunkin’… and a good book.
And I’m convinced that every good book deserves a bookmark that makes you smile. 💕

This little Dunkin’ clip was the perfect companion for The One and Only by Maureen Goo — a charming story about a Korean American family, generations of matchmaking, face reading, a little bit of magic, and even past lives. ✨

It started a little slowly for me, but once it found its rhythm, I was hooked. I finished it in TWO DAYS! 📖💕

And honestly? A book this delightful deserved a delightful bookmark.
