Furnace rebuild

Day six of the rebuild and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. All I have left is the clean out trap door and some locking brackets to make. This thing will be out of the shop to make room for the next job by the end of the weekend. We will be posting a full video of the build when it’s done.

Day 5. Got the vent blower casing welded up. I still need to make the mount brackets and doors.

Day 4 of the furnace rebuild. I got the casing installed and welded together. Next up will be the exhaust fan case build and the two doors.

Day 3 of the furnace rebuild. All the seams have been fully welded in and the casing has been cut out and partially installed.

Quick photo dump of this weeks work. I got another bike rack, a couple park entry polls, and a couple tabs put on park safety polls.

Day two of the furnace rebuild. I got the fire bricks installed and locked into place with custom brackets. The front door brackets and side panels have been installed. Next up will be the seam welding and cover panels. Stay tuned for the next update.

Day 1 of the furnace rebuild. The entire top side is being plasma cut out with new metal. I need to wait on the fire bricks to come in so I can weld in the retention brackets. Once the bricks and brackets are installed I can put the sides on and weld the casing together. Fun times. Keep an eye out for day two of the rebuild.

Full restoration on a customers wood burning furnace with forced air fan and ducting. This is the tear down process so I can see what is still useable and what material needs to be ordered. Stay tuned for the rebuild.
