It is almost April 15th. If you have not filed your tax return yet, please get an extension form #4868 and fill out your name, address, social security number and mail it today. Include a check if you think you are going to have to pay in 2025. This will eliminate a penalty for not paying by April 15th (if you owe money, the extension does not extend your time to pay. Penalties and interest will accrue until the balance is paid.) Have a great "rest of the year"!

To those who had overtime in 2025....if your employer did not put your premium OT pay on your W2, please bring your last paystub with you to your tax appointment, so we can calculate the portion that can be deducted.

For those that bring us info to process your 1099's; please bring in the info as soon as possible. The deadline to get the 1099 to your employer/contractor is Feb. 2, 2026.

Happy New Year! To our Senior clients: Check your mailboxes for your Social Security yearly statements. They started sending them in December 2025. Please bring these with you to your tax appointment. This income is still reportable on your 2025 tax returns. The "no tax on Social Security" speech isn't exactly what is happening in 2025. Instead, those over the age of 65 will receive an additional $6000 allowance. Make your appointment as soon as possible and we look forward to seeing you this year!
