In Clarendon County this morning jetting a gutter drain collection pipe that had stopped working due to a blockage. This blockage had allowed water to enter the building during heavy rains and needed to be resolved before damages occurred. Cleared the drain pipe from both ends and finished off with a camera inspection to ensure the integrity of the pipe was still in good working condition.

Spent the day in Hilton Head inspecting a stormwater system for a customer that is being proactive and getting ahead of any problems that could potentially cause major roadway issues in the future. We traveled down to Mt. Pleasant today to install a 8” Pipe Patch for a point repair in a sewer line. This is a trenchless method of repairing pipes without the need for digging up a sidewalk, yards, roads, etc.. This method saved our customer thousands of dollars, and more importantly, if the homeowners in the neighborhood didn’t see us out working, they never would’ve known we were even there compared to the conventional method of dig and repair as this sewer line was about 12’ deep, which would’ve been a huge inconvenience to homeowners in the subdivision for at least 2-3 days. We were able to help save our customer the expense of hauling in heavy equipment, manpower, sidewalk, asphalt and yard repairs and just the aggravation of having to shut down a road and reroute traffic in the area.
