Have you ever asked Jesus if he is The Christ? If you have not asked him, how do you know he is? Today we will consider asking him in our hearts, are you Jesus, the Christ of God?

And in two weeks (Resurrection Sunday) we will do our best to answer that question.

Let me share with you the feeling... or better yet, the understanding the Holy Spirit has given me in regard to Jesus Christ , his Church, and Festivals or holidays. All the festivals, all the laws, all the traditions point to Christ. He is not only the Lord of the Harvest, He is the Lord and honored person of every Christmas, and every Easter. While he was on earth, if he was not at the festival... then it was no festival. I am not sure how you celebrate Christmas or Easter or any other holy day. If Jesus is not there (present) then it is not Christmas, if Jesus is not there, it is not an Easter...

Every time we gather around bread and wine, in church or in our homes, we remember Jesus is the one who provides all we need.

We will celebrate our first communion Sunday, February 19th.

23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. (1 Corinthians 11: 23-26)
