a. facilitate order and procurement of replacement parts that are requested by inhouse service technicians or customers,
b. submit parts orders, track shipments, parts orders are typically placed online and/or purchased from local vendors, parts are researched in order to achieve lowest total cost by comparison of product unit price to include shipping costs
c. manage the parts department while employing inventory management techniques and inventory control, exercise discretionary judgement to stock adequate supply of high demand parts and products
d. prepares internal service tickets citing needed repair work including any stocked item in inventory or ordered parts
e. assumes control of customer engagement whenever an issue (service request, warranty service or warranty repair) is brought to the dealership
f. experience working with engine parts and watercraft components are desirable but not absolutely required, demonstrated customer service and communication skills are essential traits
