Choosing where to bank your baby's cells is personal, and every family will weigh different things before deciding.

Tarek Salti runs ALBI Wellness & Longevity in Houston. When it came to his own children, one of the things he considered was how much control his family would have over their cells. That was part of what led him to choose VitalCells.

His experience points to a question worth asking wherever you are considering: beyond pricing and storage terms, how much control will your family actually have?

Waiting to cut the cord and banking your baby's stem cells are not competing choices. It depends entirely on what the bank keeps.

The organizations that issue guidance on this recommend waiting, and waiting does reduce the blood left in the cord. The difference is the material, not the bank.

We explain it in full in the video on our YouTube channel, with the sources on screen. Link in bio.

There is a difference between telling a family their child's cells will be there and being able to tell them how many.

VitalCells isolates the mesenchymal stem cells from the cord tissue, and that processing is what makes a count possible. A family gets a verified number rather than a description of the service. And when the cells are needed, the decision sits with the family and their physician.

Dr. Tara Dullye is an OBGYN who spent years guiding families through banking before she came across this model, and that is what she talks about here.

Most of the comparison between banks happens around two things: what it costs and how many years it is kept. Both are on every website, both are easy to compare, and neither answers the question that matters.

What decides what will be there later is what happens between collection and freezing. It is a short window, it happens once, and it cannot be redone. A frozen sample is exactly what was frozen that day.

So when you are comparing, ask about the processing. At every bank, including this one.

Send this to whoever is deciding it with you.

Over the years, your family may move more than once. Between birth and the day your child's cells are needed, there is a good chance you will be living in another city or state.

With VitalCells, your child has access to their cells wherever they are in the country. The cells are shipped by American Cell Technology, the laboratory that has banked and grown them since day one, and they arrive directly with your physician.

How quickly depends on the plan your family holds. A standard request takes three weeks. Families on a prepaid plan have access to already grown and tested cells within 48 hours' notice.

If you are not sure which plan you are on, text us at (469) 809-5806 and we will tell you. No pressure, nothing to sign.

If you have been part of this conversation for a few weeks now, you already know why banking matters and why the price looks the way it does.

What is left is the practical part: having a real number ready, in case the question ever comes up from someone else in the family.

The side-by-side comparison is on our site, if you want to see where the difference actually sits.

Some things are worth saving before you know when you will need them. Your grandchild's cells are one of them.

Storing those cells today is a decision that still holds up tomorrow. The value is not in the emergency. It is in having already acted.

At VitalCells, what gets recorded is not a raw sample sitting in a freezer. Through CellMaxx, the cells are expanded in culture, and the cell count and viability are verified and documented.

If the day ever comes, the cells will already be ready. That is the part that depends on us, and it is already handled.

Want to understand exactly how this works before deciding? Text us at (469) 809-5806. We will walk you through it.

Grandparents Day is on Sunday, and this is not a post about flowers.

If your daughter or son is expecting, there is a decision happening in their house right now that they may not have mentioned to you: whether to bank their baby's stem cells at birth. It only comes around once. It closes the day the baby is born.

Most people who bank never end up needing to think about why. It sits there, done, and life goes on.
If you'd like to understand how it works before you bring it up with them, text us at (469) 809-5806. We'll walk you through it, no pressure, nothing to sign.
