Maddy and Blake first met in sixth grade. Their friendship stayed strong through middle and high school, but their love story didn’t truly begin until they locked eyes at their 10-year reunion. “We slow-danced without music and made out in front of everyone,” the pair said. “We’ve been together ever since.”

To get married, Wind Mountain Ranch, with its incredible Columbia River Gorge views and cozy, dinner-party vibe, was the ideal choice for the Oregon natives. A formal dress code set the tone for their elevated affair, while whimsical florals offered a dash of playfulness. Amid the scenic views, the pair exchanged vows—Maddy’s ruffled veil fluttering in the wind. 

To honor his family, Blake wore his late grandfather’s wedding band, a cherished memento from his grandmother that represented the passing of the torch of a loving and happy marriage. Guests documented the evening and left joyful messages for the newlyweds via an old-school VHS camcorder. 

Grateful for the intentionality of their wedding day, Maddy and Blake offered this simple advice to future couples: “Do literally anything and everything that makes you happy, and the rest will figure itself out.”

Billie Jo and Joel’s wedding was a celebration of bold color and details that felt entirely their own. Butterflies and florals carried through their paper goods, while a stained glass inspired welcome sign brought another playful layer to the design. Their seating chart featured individual cards suspended among delicate origami cranes, creating a display that felt completely unique.

Inside, black and white checkered floors and black rattan chairs set the scene for vibrant florals in shades of pink and coral. Even the table numbers got a personal touch with portraits of their cats. And when it was time to hit the dance floor, Billie Jo changed into a beaded fringe mini that was made for dancing.

From the florals and fashion to all the little details in between, color carried through every part of their day.

As wedding vendors themselves, grooms Freddie and Rod felt it was important to approach planning with a clear point of view. Held outdoors, the event’s setting offered a calm backdrop that let their choices stand out and shine. Custom signage incorporating papel picado (“punched paper,” a tradition in Mexican celebrations) designs established a cultural throughline that carried across the event, including the seating display and overhead décor. Florals leaned warm, with bright orange tones threaded through soft greenery, creating contrast against the natural surroundings. 

Their attire followed that same sense of intention. Rod’s green suit paired effortlessly with a bold boutonnière of reaching blooms, while Freddie’s embroidered traditional charro suit brought a striking visual element that felt authentic to him. Together, their style choices symbolized tradition expressed through a modern lens. 

The ceremony was framed by a floral installation that felt as if it were bursting forth from the space rather than being placed within it. Since they couldn’t have the real deal, Freddie and the groomsmen galloped down the aisle atop faux horses—just one of the many playful elements of the day. 

As the evening shifted, the reception settled into a relaxed energy. String lights cast a glow over the dance floor as guests moved between conversation and celebration.

Ruby and Tim’s Oregon elopement was an intimate celebration surrounded by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The couple hiked to a scenic overlook where they privately read their vows before heading back down to celebrate with their closest family and friends.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued over breakfast, where guests snapped Polaroids for a keepsake guest book and spent the morning enjoying time with the newlyweds. From handwritten vows and sweeping views to their pups joining in on the day, every detail felt personal to Ruby and Tim. Congratulations!

Fall has officially arrived, and this Oregon styled shoot is full of inspiration for the season. Set against a landscape just beginning to change colors, the design embraced the natural surroundings with soft, earthy details and an organic approach to florals.

A statement circular reception table wrapped around a wild, garden inspired floral installation that appeared to grow straight from the center. The Carly House brought the perfect cabin inspired backdrop, while tulle draped ceremony chairs, ceramic details and touches of soft blue added an unexpected elegance to the fall palette. A beautiful balance of refined details and the untamed beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
